THE 4TH TRIMESTER
The Fourth Trimester describes the time after birth when both parents and baby are adjusting to their new lives. We think of other trimesters as being three months long, the 4th trimester follows from birth to three months. It’s an enormous transition from being in utero to life after birth. The 4th trimester is as equally important as the 3 trimesters during pregnancy. We frequently make considerable alterations to our lives to accommodate the needs of our growing babies and the significant changes our bodies are undergoing too. With attention focused on pregnancy it’s easy to forget the importance of post-natal care which will not only help support your baby in the first few months but also help you recover and return to full radiant health.
A newborn experiences vast and varied changes in their environment within the first few hours. It’s no wonder that they can find this scary, and it’s natural that they cry to express their fears. When our babies cry it can be upsetting and difficult to know what is troubling them. Reflexage is a safe and natural way to help support your baby. It is a great way to enhance your bond, the closer your baby feels to you, the happier they will be. Crying is a baby’s only form of communication. By learning natural, empowering techniques will help strengthen your bond with your baby, enabling you to feel more confident to help them when they feel unsettled.
THE 4TH TRIMESTER
The 4th Trimester can be difficult for many women who often need just as much TLC as their babies do. You need to take good care of yourself to rebuild your strength. You’ll need plenty of rest, good nutrition, and help during the first few weeks. Post-natal reflexology is a gentle and natural way to help you recover from the birth of your baby. It can be hugely beneficial in encouraging your body to heal. You may be feeling a whole array of differing emotions, whilst at the same time coping with some of the physical complications of childbirth. Post-natal reflexology can support you with breast feeding, regulate and balance your hormones, ease backache, post-partum birth or surgical pain, digestive issues and managing your emotions.
