Have you heard of A Thermomix…?
I want to talk about the most amazing kitchen gadget I’ve ever come across…A THERMOMIX…AKA THERMIE… my personal kitchen assistant…!! You can meal plan, create collections and shopping lists, send your shopping list to various stores and store your favourite recipes all in one app. Cookidoo is the app that links to the Thermomix, which contains well over 50,000 recipes from around the world. You can create restaurant quality meals effortlessly in such a quick and easy way…I first came across this wonderful piece of kitchen gadgetry at a business networking event and knew I needed to know more…!! I love food and love cooking but never have enough time to cook properly and as there’s only me and my son at home and we eat different foods it makes ordinary healthy cooking tricky…well not with my trusty Thermie it doesn’t.

I waited a while to see it in face to face action as the pandemic happened shortly after…As soon as lockdown lifted I arranged a personal demonstration at my house…Marie told me about the Cookidoo app which gives you access to a ton of mouth-watering recipes…I chose… we cooked…and it was the most amazing 3 course meal I’ve ever made and in such an efficient and speedy way…I was totally hooked…and have not for a single minute regretted the decision to purchase (I have been known to make hasty decisions and buy things I think I need but really don’t…!!)
Owning a thermomix has given me the opportunity to make meals I would never have dreamt to attempt in the past…and they always turn out delicious…How cool is that…?? I genuinely have never had a bad meal…It’s not just meals I make now…I’ve made my own butter…plant milk…vegetable stock…jam…all sorts of curds…amazing brownies…fudge…bread…yoghurt…the list is endless…This machine stirs, mixes, chops, grinds, blends and kneads…It steams, slow cooks, sautes, sous-vides, whips and whisks…it even has built in scales and cleans itself…!!! Who wouldn’t want one…??

So guess what…?? I’ve become a thermomix advisor…I just want to share the thermie love and introduce more people to this wonderful piece of kitchen engineering that has actually been around as long as me…well…it’s a year younger but who’s gonna quibble about a year…??!!
